Our Story

Richmond Technology is a professional complete computer solutions provider offering end-to-end, one stop ICT services.

Narelle and John moved to Casino in 2017 from the Central West where they first began operating their ICT business. Based in Forbes NSW, the business covered the Central and Far West of NSW.

Narelle and John opened their ICT business in Forbes in 1997, determined to bring a complete and professional ICT service to the an area bound by  Lithgow to the east, Dubbo to the north, Broken Hill to the west and Narrandera to the south. During the 20 years of business in Forbes, they employed a total of 50 staff, and at its peak had 9 full time staff as well as taking in work experience students most school holidays from the high schools in the area.

Richmond Technology can attend your office or home and is open Monday to Friday. Not only can they offer you reliable advice on almost anything IT, we also offer solutions and advice to new and existing businesses that are trying to keep up with emerging technologies, particularly when it comes to the increasing dependence on Internet and Cloud technology and security risks this brings with it.

Selling, repairing and upgrading computer systems is only part of what Richmond Technology can do for you. There is no ‘one solution fits all’ approach. We work closely with our clients and businesses to deliver either an on premise, cloud or hybrid IT solution that works for the client.

Narelle Oomen

Narelle studied Business Management at TAFE NSW and has many years experience in the administration and sales side of the ICT business world. Narelle is happy to help when purchasing new equipment, repairs or making appointments with technicians.

John Oomen

DIRECTOR / TECHNICIAN / PROGRAMMER

John has worked in the IT industry for most of his working life.
John attended Charles Sturt University, studying Bachelor of Business (MIS & Information Technology), is a certified data cabler, software developer, business manager and worked in Melbourne for 3 years as the ICT Services Manager for Loreto Australia & South East Asia.
